Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking.
- Document patient care activities, intake, and output accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Qualifications
- Current New York State CNA certification or completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
