Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy services
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Assist with medication administration and inventory management
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and medical equipment
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in hospital setting preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced emergency/trauma environments
