Responsibilities
- Conduct Remote Patient Assessments: Evaluate patient symptoms and health status via secure video and phone consultations to determine appropriate care plans.
- Triage and Consultation: Provide immediate medical guidance and triage services to patients, collaborating closely with physicians and care teams when necessary.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on disease prevention, medication management, and lifestyle adjustments to improve long-term health outcomes.
- EHR Documentation: Accurately and timely document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Policy Compliance: Adhere to all state nursing regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and company telehealth protocols to ensure patient safety and privacy.
- Shift Flexibility: Adapt to varying shift schedules (Day, Evening, Night) as needed to meet patient demand.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the United States (Texas preferred).
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in acute care, emergency room, or telehealth settings.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and strong computer skills, including video conferencing tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients remotely.
- Home Office: Must have a dedicated, quiet workspace and a reliable, high-speed internet connection.
