Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care to patients, including bathing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately and timely.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper lifting techniques.
- Prepare and serve meals while ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients and staff.
- Document patient care plans and communicate significant changes to the nursing team immediately.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their recovery.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing with the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening.
- Experience in home health or long-term care is highly preferred.
