Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and report any significant changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Support the overall mission of the facility by promoting a positive and healing environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license currently active in Washington State.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
- Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records.
