Role Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety by maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and families regarding patient status.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in real-time via our remote access system.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license in Maryland.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong computer literacy for remote documentation and electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
