Job Summary
As a CNA, you will provide high-quality care to patients in a residential or clinical setting. You will work closely with the nursing staff to ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity. This is a critical role in our facility, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about patient advocacy.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Report any changes in a patient's condition or behavior to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care services in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA Certification (FL CNA License) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus but not always required for urgent hires.
- Strong compassion and empathy for the elderly and sick population.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
