Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Provide support with mobility and safely transfer patients using proper techniques.
- Prepare and serve meals according to patient dietary requirements and preferences.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and family members regarding patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required for the state of Illinois.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
