Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to patients in accordance with individual care plans.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and promptly.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent injury.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the RN or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients and staff.
- Document all care provided and report any incidents or emergencies.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA license in the State of Florida.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with lifting patients.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for facility travel, if required).
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
