Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic bedside care and support to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely using proper techniques.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient conditions and changes in status.
- Follow all facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Candidates with no prior experience are encouraged to apply; on-the-job training provided.
- Must possess a valid CNA certification or be willing to obtain one.
- Strong compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
