Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed to ensure proper nutrition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred but not required for high-performing candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
