Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to nursing staff.
- Provide basic patient care such as feeding, repositioning, and helping patients move safely to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Observe and report changes in patient behavior, mood, or physical condition to the charge nurse or supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients to prevent infection and ensure comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed to support patient well-being.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are willing to train motivated candidates with a positive attitude.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
- Current CNA certification (or eligibility to obtain) is a plus but not mandatory for all roles.
- Basic computer literacy is helpful for documentation purposes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and assist patients (up to 50 lbs) is required.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
