Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Medication Administration: Assist with medication distribution under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and care plans in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Communication: Effectively communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Hygiene & Safety: Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active CNA license in the State of Georgia.
- Experience: Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Training: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Basic Arrhythmia Recognition is required.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Character: Demonstrated compassion, patience, and strong ethical values.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
