Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and report any abnormalities to the Registered Nurse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients to improve their quality of life.
- Document patient care activities, intake and output, and changes in patient condition accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA Certification (CNA I) in the state of Arizona.
- Valid Arizona Nursing Assistant License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
