Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, ensuring strict infection control protocols are followed.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Transport patients to different areas of the facility using wheelchairs or stretchers safely and efficiently.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Oklahoma CNA Certification (State Licensure required).
- Previous experience as a CNA or Nursing Assistant is preferred but not mandatory for top candidates.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, move, and assist patients of varying sizes.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
