Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Document patient care plans and update records accurately and timely.
- Respond to patient calls and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare staff to ensure holistic patient care.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA Certification (CNA II preferred).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Clean background check and drug screen required.
