Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Document patient care activities, including intake and output, in electronic health records accurately.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required by the state of Washington.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred but willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with a strong work ethic.
