Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and safety equipment.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment at all times.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Illinois CNA License.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
- Physical stamina to perform standing, walking, and lifting duties throughout the shift.
