Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide safe and efficient patient mobility assistance and transfers.
- Prepare meals and assist patients with feeding as necessary.
- Document patient care activities, including intake and output, in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered CNA license in Kentucky and/or Virginia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor and a strong commitment to patient care.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
