Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs measurements (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration).
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Greet patients and update medical records accurately.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with procedures and patient care.
- Administer injections and medications as directed by providers.
- Handle incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume medical environment.
