Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by obtaining vital signs and recording medical history.
- Assist physicians and nurses during medical procedures, including drawing blood and administering injections.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and sterilize medical equipment.
- Manage patient records electronically and ensure confidentiality.
- Instruct patients on medications and post-operative care instructions.
- Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Handle front desk duties such as answering phones and scheduling appointments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency is preferred.
- Willingness to obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire (training provided).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
