Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, documenting changes immediately to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations with composure and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado (or willingness to relocate to Ohio).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- CPR (BLS) and ACLS certifications are required; PALS and TNCC certifications are a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a high-paced team environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed (minimum 50 lbs).
- Commitment to adhering to all health and safety regulations.
