Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct and indirect patient care utilizing evidence-based nursing practices
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document clinical observations and care activities in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization projects
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Colorado (or compact license)
- BSN degree required; MSN or higher preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience in relevant specialty
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC or PALS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development
