Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, injections, and basic laboratory tests under supervision.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Coordinate patient appointments, manage incoming calls, and handle front-desk administrative duties.
- Ensure a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist with health education and provide guidance on wellness programs.
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required.
- CPR/BLS certification is mandatory.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred but open to new graduates with strong externship experience.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centric attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Proficiency with computer systems and EMR software.
