Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and medical history collection.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and exam rooms for patient use.
- Draw blood and administer injections following strict safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and lifestyle changes.
- Manage front desk operations including scheduling and insurance verification.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
