Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and diagnostic testing
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care lab testing
- Manage patient flow and ensure clinic efficiency through coordination
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
- Administer medications and treatments per provider protocols
- Handle remote administrative tasks including scheduling and patient communication
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Ability to multitask in high-volume environments
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Comfort with hybrid work model (clinical + remote tasks)
