Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Accurately record vital signs and medical histories in EHR systems
- Administer injections, medications, and perform phlebotomy
- Maintain sterile examination rooms and medical equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Assist with insurance verification and billing documentation
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA or RMA) or eligible for immediate certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Tennessee state license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Fluent in English with clear verbal/written communication
