Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessment and care planning for cardiac patients
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Provide patient/family education on cardiac health management
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois (or compact state)
- BSN degree required, MSN preferred
- 2+ years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with cardiac monitoring equipment
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
