Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, including vitals, medical history, and insurance verification.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure strict adherence to sterilization protocols.
- Administer injections and medications in strict accordance with state regulations.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and provide exceptional customer service at every touchpoint.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a physician practice or clinic setting preferred.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient empathy and privacy.
- Ability to lift and move patients or equipment as needed.
