Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Medication Management: Monitor and remind clients to take prescribed medications in a timely manner.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious and appetizing meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to improve the client's emotional well-being.
- Household Support: Light housekeeping and laundry services to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid state Caregiver Certification or CNA license.
- Experience: Prior experience in home health or assisted living is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Empathy: A genuine passion for helping seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- Reliability: Must have a clean background check and reliable transportation.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods as required by the role.
