Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Transport patients to treatment areas or between departments using wheelchairs or stretchers.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the State of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
