Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and personal hygiene.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and healthcare staff to ensure quality care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Administer medication as directed by licensed personnel.
- Document patient progress and report any changes in condition immediately.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA license in Nebraska.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- CPR and BLS certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient well-being.
- High school diploma or GED required.
