Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse) and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment for patients and equipment.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately and timely in medical records.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Follow all healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and facility policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA certification in the state of Georgia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and families.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying schedules.
