Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist nurses and physicians with medical procedures and patient exams.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and concerns.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or willingness to obtain one.
- Previous healthcare experience is a plus, but we welcome entry-level candidates seeking to start their career.
- Strong compassion and desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
