Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining patient dignity and comfort.
  • Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature) accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist the nursing staff with mobility support, transfers, and positioning of patients to prevent falls and pressure ulcers.

Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Texas.

  • CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
