Your Role
As a CNA, you will be the heart of our patient care team, providing essential support to residents and ensuring their comfort and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent falls and pressure ulcers.
- Administer medications as directed by the nursing staff and document all care accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and concerns.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging them in social and recreational activities.
Qualifications
- Current CNA Certification from the State Board of Nursing (or eligibility to obtain one).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- CPR/BLS certification is a plus but not mandatory.
