Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient symptoms accurately.
- Assist nurses and physicians with medical procedures and patient rounds.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and care plans.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA or RN license in the state of New York.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented personality.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
