Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status changes.
- Assist nurses and physicians with medical procedures and examinations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the provider.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Document all care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Nevada.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
