Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility issues and transfers using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the RN or Physician.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CNA or active LPN license in the State of Kansas required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients regularly.
- Compassionate, patient-oriented attitude with a focus on quality care.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
