Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records.
- Collaborate effectively with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Kansas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient care.
