Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, walking, and transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or license required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs).
- CPR certification is a plus but not mandatory for the right candidate.
