Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using walkers, wheelchairs, or hoyer lifts safely.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and assist patients during mealtimes.
- Document patient care activities and update medical records accurately.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, and family members regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience as a CNA or in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
