Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and report any significant changes to the RN or Charge Nurse.
- Support patient mobility by assisting with transfers to and from beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized patient environment.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and assist patients with eating.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the EMR system.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Ohio CNA Certification.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
- Compassionate attitude and a commitment to patient-centered care.
