Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfer using proper techniques and equipment.
- Administer medication as directed by the RN or physician according to established protocols.
- Document patient care activities, changes in condition, and responses to treatment accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required in the state of NC.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or home care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
