Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse, accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding patients with special dietary needs.
- Document patient care activities, changes in patient conditions, and reactions to medications.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and families regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Nevada.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods.
- Must demonstrate compassion, patience, and a professional demeanor.
