Your Role
You will be an integral part of our care team, providing direct support to patients and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Provide mobility assistance and transfer patients safely using Hoyer lifts and transfer belts.
- Administer prescribed medications and document all care activities in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the RN or LPN immediately.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required for the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or acute care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient-centered care.
