Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care provided
- Assist with meal service and ensure proper nutrition/hydration
- Support patient rehabilitation exercises and therapeutic activities
- Maintain sterile environments and implement infection control protocols
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Arizona CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or acute care experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in EMR documentation
- Valid Arizona driver's license (if transporting patients)
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
