Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure comfort throughout treatments
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using precise instruments and materials
- Take and develop high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Maintain sterilization protocols and instrument inventory
- Manage patient scheduling and digital record documentation
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene
- Coordinate treatment plans with front office team
Qualifications
- CDA or RDA certification required (or eligible)
- 2+ years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
- Valid Illinois dental radiography permit
