Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams and complex treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage sterilization and infection control protocols
- Perform chairside assistance with instruments and materials
- Update patient records using digital dental software
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (KY state)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a dental setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
