Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgery
- Perform chairside duties: instrument transfer, suctioning, and patient comfort management
- Execute digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Maintain sterile environments through strict OSHA/CDC protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and chairside coordination seamlessly
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for optimal efficiency
- Deliver post-procedure care instructions with clear patient education
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB certification required
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Exceptional communication skills for patient rapport-building
- Ability to manage multiple procedures in a fast-paced environment
- CPR/BLS certification (current or obtainable within 30 days)
